Since its origins in the 1970’s, BD Design has led the way on artisanal processes, always keen to emphasise art over industrial design. With superior quality, short-series or even limited edition productions, unique pieces are crafted from the manufacturers workshops in Spain. Always ahead of the field, in the 80’s BD edited Gaudí’s furniture for his famous buildings and in the early 90’s BD introduced an exclusive first collection of furniture and lamps designed by Dalí. Designers such as Jaime Hayon and Doshi Levien have continued to produce furniture reinforcing BDs positioning – where design and art meet.
